Catcat’s Story

In January 2021, our emergency vet services program, operated by Laurel’s House, provided 53 animals with free care. One of the pets treated was CatCat, a beautiful orange tabby.

CatCat’s owner was in-between homes and impacted financially by COVID. Needing extensive dental treatment herself, she couldn’t afford for CatCat to receive veterinary care for the feline’s wounds, likely caused by scabies.

With funding from Houston PetSet, CatCat was fixed up at no cost to his owner. We are proud to support this program #ForTheAnimals, as we know that there are many loving pet owners out there who are experiencing financial hardship.
