We help the public provide proper care to their pets through our Community Service and Education programs.
In 2023, Houston PetSet continued to focus on and expand community events, providing free microchips and vaccines to 1,800 pets. These events were also an opportunity to offer free spay/neuter services and free food to participating families.
We also granted $288,000 in emergency funds to rescue groups with significant medical cases, as well as pet owners in need of assistance with medical bills so they could keep their beloved pets. With the rising cost of veterinary care, we have found this to be an absolutely vital service for pet owners and rescue groups alike.
